- Almix Herbicide is a pre-emergent, post-emergent herbicide which belongs to the sulfonylurea family.
- Almix herbicide technical name - Metsulfuron methyl 10% + Chlorimuron ethyl 10% WP
- It works at a very low dosage to control sedges and broad-leaved weeds in paddy.

Almix Herbicide Technical Details
- Technical Content: Metsulfuron methyl 10% + Chlorimuron ethyl 10% WP
- Mode of Entry: Contact and residual soil action
- Mode of Action: Branched chain amino acid synthesis (ASL or AHAS) inhibitor. Acts by inhibiting biosynthesis of the essential amino acids valine and isoleucine, hence stopping cell division and plant growth in shoots and roots.

Dosage:
- Rice transplanted (pre-emergence): 20 gm per hectare in 500 litres of water.
- Rice (post emergence): 20 gm per hectare in 300 litres of water.
- Rice direct sown (puddled condition): 20 gm per hectare in 300 litres of water.
Method of Application: Foliar Spray
Additional Information
- Compatibility: Do not mix this herbicide with any chemical.
- It does not harm adjacent crops like mustard, vegetable, fruit crops, cotton, castor, etc. unless it’s directly sprayed on them.
- It is safe for the environment, animals and human beings.
